Senior Accountant / Client Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000+ DOE

Our client, a well-established accountancy practice in West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practice professional looking for greater responsibility, direct client exposure, and a genuine pathway to management.
The Role
You will manage a varied portfolio of clients and provide high-quality accounting and tax services to owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies
- Prepare corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Manage and develop client relationships
- Review work completed by junior team members
- Prepare and review management accounts
- Liaise with clients on accounting, taxation and business matters
- Support partners with ad-hoc projects and advisory work
About You
Essential Requirements
- ACA or ACCA Qualified (QBE candidates also considered)
- 3+ years' recent UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong accounts preparation experience across multiple business types
- Excellent knowledge of corporation tax, personal tax and VAT
- Experience managing client relationships
- Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills
- Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Portfolio management experience
- Management accounts experience
- Knowledge of CCH, Xero and Sage
- Experience reviewing junior staff work
