Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ)
Location: Kendal
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits

This is a newly qualified position within a busy Commercial Property team based in Kendal. You’ll work on a broad mix of matters, with regular client and agent contact, and the chance to build your technical skills quickly while developing your own style as a trusted adviser.
The team advises investors, lenders, developers and entrepreneurs across a range of sectors. The work is varied and often transactional, so it suits someone who enjoys pace, detail, and building relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Liaising with supervisors to manage workload and priorities
- Drafting and negotiating transactional documentation
- Providing clear, practical advice and regular updates to clients and agents
- Using a case management system and maintaining accurate file records
- Building relationships with clients and contacts, and contributing to business development
- Working closely with colleagues across other service lines to deliver a joined-up client service
- Supporting wider team objectives and promoting the firm’s values
What We’re Looking For
- Newly qualified Solicitor, ideally with a seat in Commercial Property / Real Estate
- Confidence managing your own caseload with some supervision
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
- Good IT skills and comfort working with case management systems
- A self-motivated, collaborative approach
- Interest in business development and building a network over time
Desirable
- Experience with SOS case management
