Chelmsford 

c.£70,000 DOE

We are excited to be working with a well-established, family-run law firm in Chelmsford to find a talented Commercial Solicitor to join their growing team. About the Role

You'll be joining a close-knit, friendly team with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll handle a varied and interesting caseload while playing a key role in the firm’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including M&As, corporate transactions, shareholder agreements, restructuring, and general commercial work.

  • Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice to business clients.

  • Building long-lasting relationships with referrers and clients, becoming a trusted advisor.

  • Supporting or leading the development of the Commercial department.

  • Contributing to business growth through networking and strategic partnerships.

  • Collaborating with the team to achieve shared goals and targets.

About You

  • 4+ years PQE with experience in corporate and commercial law.

  • A commercial mindset with the ability to understand and support business clients.

  • Strong communication skills – confident, approachable, and able to build rapport easily.

  • A proactive team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional client service and making a real impact.
