An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Solicitor with 4+ years PQE to join a growing, family-run law firm. This role offers the chance to develop and expand the commercial team whilst generating new business in a supportive environment.

 

• Managing a varied caseload of corporate and commercial matters including company formations, acquisitions, and commercial contracts

• Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and terms of business

• Providing strategic legal advice to business clients on corporate governance and compliance matters

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships whilst identifying opportunities for business development

• Collaborating with colleagues across different departments to deliver comprehensive legal solutions

• Supervising junior staff and contributing to their professional development

• Participating in business development activities and networking events

• Managing files efficiently whilst maintaining high professional standards and meeting deadlines

• Keeping abreast of legal developments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• Contributing to the firm's growth strategy and commercial objectives

 

• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years PQE in corporate and commercial law

• Strong technical knowledge of company law, commercial contracts, and business transactions

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a client-focused approach • Proven business development capabilities and ambition to grow the practice • Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player • High professional standards and ethical approach to legal practice • Flexible and positive attitude towards working in a busy, growing environment
