Salary: £75,000-£95,000

The Opportunity
Our client's Corporate team has been the most active dealmakers in Leeds for the last 5 consecutive years, completing deals in excess of £100 million. You'll join a collaborative, technically excellent team that works across 25+ international jurisdictions, supporting businesses at every stage of their growth journey.

Your Responsibilities
- Case Management: Manage your own diverse caseload and build strong client relationships with appropriate support and guidance
- Transaction Leadership: Lead on smaller corporate transactions whilst working closely with Senior Lawyers on high-value matters
- Technical Excellence: Handle M&A transactions, private equity investments, buyouts, joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations
- Corporate Governance: Advise on complex corporate governance matters and strategic commercial issues
- International Work: Collaborate with clients across 25+ jurisdictions including Private Companies and PLCs
- Team Development: Support the technical development and mentoring of junior team members
- Business Growth: Contribute to business development activities and client networking opportunities
- Cross-Practice Collaboration: Work closely with other practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
- Strategic Advisory: Provide commercial advice to help clients achieve their business objectives
- Quality Delivery: Maintain the highest standards of technical excellence and client service
Essential Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' PQE in corporate law (UK qualified solicitor)
- Technical expertise across M&A, private equity, and corporate governance
- Transaction experience including buyouts, joint ventures, and reorganisations
- Team leadership experience supporting and developing junior lawyers
Key Skills:
- Commercial acumen with ability to provide strategic business advice
- Excellent communication and client relationship building skills
- Business development experience (advantageous)
- Collaborative approach thriving in team environments
- Resilience under pressure with autonomous working capability
- Growth mindset with authentic, motivated approach
