About the Role
As a Restructuring Associate, you'll be integral to a team that provides innovative solutions to complex financial and corporate challenges across various sectors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting complex restructuring and insolvency matters, including:
- Corporate restructurings
- Business reorganisations
- Distressed debt scenarios
- Formal insolvency proceedings
- Cross-border restructuring
- Acting for diverse clients such as:
- Banks
- Financial institutions
- Investors
- Lenders
- Corporate entities
- Insolvency practitioners
- Handling various transaction types:
- Debt restructuring
- Refinancing
- Creditor negotiations
- Workouts
- Pre-pack administrations
- Drafting and reviewing complex legal documentation
- Conducting thorough legal and financial research
- Preparing detailed case reports and analysis
- Supporting senior team members in client meetings
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Contributing to business development efforts
- Engaging in continuous professional development

What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with minimum 1 year's post-qualification experience
- Strong academic background
- Keen interest in restructuring and insolvency law
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Detail-oriented approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Collaborative team player
Desirable:
- Experience in corporate or financial restructuring
- Understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Knowledge of cross-border restructuring
- Additional insolvency-related qualifications
- Experience with distressed debt scenarios
