Salary: £75,000-£110,000 + Extensive Benefits

Our client, a leading law firm with an enviable client base across private and public sectors, is seeking an ambitious Associate or Managing Associate to join their dynamic Commercial team. About the Role

As an Associate or Managing Associate in the Commercial team, you'll be integral to delivering innovative solutions across technology and outsourcing transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on diverse technology and commercial matters, such as:
    • Tech transformations
    • Cloud and SaaS arrangements
    • IT outsourcing
    • Business process outsourcing
    • Facilities management outsourcing
    • Logistics arrangements
    • IT licences
    • Commercial contracts
  • Working with clients across sectors:
    • Private sector organisations
    • Public sector bodies
    • Technology companies
    • Service providers
    • Digital transformation specialists
  • Managing complex transaction processes:
    • Contract drafting and negotiation
    • Due diligence
    • Risk assessment
    • Commercial strategy development
    • Service level agreement design
  • Drafting and reviewing complex legal documentation
  • Providing strategic commercial advice
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development efforts
  • Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Exploring potential secondment opportunities
  • Engaging in continuous professional development

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience
  • Strong academic background
  • Proven experience in commercial and technology law
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder transactions
  • Detail-oriented approach
