Hiring: Senior Manager

Salary: £40,000+ (dependent on experience)
Location: Lancaster/Hybrid working available

An expanding accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Audit Manager to lead audit engagements and manage client relationships within a growing audit department.

The Role

This role is ideal for an experienced audit professional ready to take ownership of a client portfolio and play a key role in managing and developing the audit team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion

• Reviewing audit files and reporting directly to the Responsible Individual (RI)

• Leading audit fieldwork on client sites and remotely

• Managing and developing a portfolio of audit clients

• Building strong, long-term client relationships

• Coaching, training, and mentoring junior and senior audit staff

• Ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP standards

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent)

• Strong background in audit within a small or medium-sized accountancy practice

• Proven experience managing audits and client relationships

• Excellent technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP

• Experience across a variety of industries

• Full UK driving licence required
