You’ll work on complex, high-value disputes with excellent support, clear progression, and the chance to build your own profile in the market.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a high-performing, collegiate Real Estate Disputes team advising a broad client base across the real estate sector. The work is interesting, technical, and often business-critical, with plenty of scope to develop advocacy, strategy, and client-handling skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Running your own caseload (with supervision) and supporting Partners/Senior Associates on larger matters
  • Advising on a broad range of landlord and tenant disputes, including:
    • Lease renewals (contested and uncontested)
    • Dilapidations claims
    • Break notices (service and disputes)
    • Forfeiture and possession actions
  • Working on complex and high-profile disputes for a range of sophisticated clients
  • Getting involved in wider real estate disputes work, including building safetyrights of lightjoint ventures, and emerging sector issues
  • Contributing to business development and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients

What Our Client Is Looking For (Key Requirements)

  • UK-qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • 2–5 years’ PQE with strong Real Estate Disputes / Property Litigation experience gained in a reputable UK practice
  • Confidence managing multiple matters and deadlines with a calm, organised approach
  • Excellent drafting and technical capability across property litigation documentation (pleadings, correspondence, settlement documentation, advice notes)
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to communicate clearly with clients
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and genuine interest in building a long-term career in this space

Working Arrangement & Location

  • London (City)
  • Hybrid working with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary & Benefits (Summary)

  • £85,000–£110,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Bonus (where applicable)
  • Private medical cover
  • Enhanced pension
  • Generous annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Life assurance
  • Wellbeing support (EAP and related resources)
  • Structured learning and development with high-quality supervision and early responsibility
  • Clear career progression in a busy team with a strong reputation for developing Associates
