Job Description

Residential Property Solicitor (3+ PQE)
Salary: £65,000–£85,000 + bonus
Location: Central London

Run files end-to-end with real autonomy

If you’re a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor who enjoys managing matters from instruction through to completion (and you take pride in a smooth client experience), this is a great opportunity in a growing London team. Our client is looking for an experienced solicitor who can handle a busy caseload confidently, build relationships in the local market, and develop with the department as it expands.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a dynamic conveyancing team advising a broad client base, from first-time buyers through to buy-to-let investors. You’ll be trusted to run your own files end-to-end, with the support of a collaborative team around you. The firm will also consider candidates interested in a hybrid caseload combining residential and commercial property work.

The Work (Residential Conveyancing)

You will manage a mixed caseload from start to finish, including:
  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity
  • Re-mortgages
  • Title investigations, reporting, and managing exchange/completion processes
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors to progress matters efficiently

Requirements (What You’ll Need)

To be considered, you should have:
  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • Minimum 3+ years’ PQE with UK residential conveyancing experience (private practice or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to run conveyancing matters end-to-end with appropriate supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and risk management
  • Confidence using a case management system
  • An interest in relationship-building and business development (local connections advantageous, but not essential)

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £65,000–£85,000 (guide range, dependent on experience)
  • Bonus: Bonus arrangements available (to be agreed)
  • Autonomy to run your own caseload
  • Career progression as the London property team grows
  • Supportive team culture with a focus on high-quality client service
  • Opportunity to broaden your experience (including residential/commercial hybrid work where relevant)
