The Opportunity

As a key member of the team, you will manage a varied caseload of landlord and tenant disputes while delivering practical, client-focused legal solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end landlord & tenant litigation matters
  • Advising on:
    • Possession proceedings & eviction notices
    • Unlawful eviction claims
    • Housing disrepair claims
    • Tenancy deposit and Rent Repayment Order disputes
    • Breach of tenancy agreements and covenants
    • HMO licensing and landlord compliance issues
  • Drafting letters before action, pleadings, and settlement agreements
  • Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings
  • Delivering clear, commercially focused legal advice to a broad client base including landlords, tenants, and portfolio owners

 

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • 3–6 years’ PQE in Landlord & Tenant / Property Litigation
  • Proven experience handling a broad range of contentious landlord & tenant matters
  • Strong knowledge of current housing legislation and regulatory developments
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Strong client care and communication skills
