The Opportunity
As a key member of the team, you will manage a varied caseload of landlord and tenant disputes while delivering practical, client-focused legal solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end landlord & tenant litigation matters
- Advising on:
- Possession proceedings & eviction notices
- Unlawful eviction claims
- Housing disrepair claims
- Tenancy deposit and Rent Repayment Order disputes
- Breach of tenancy agreements and covenants
- HMO licensing and landlord compliance issues
- Drafting letters before action, pleadings, and settlement agreements
- Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings
- Delivering clear, commercially focused legal advice to a broad client base including landlords, tenants, and portfolio owners
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 3–6 years’ PQE in Landlord & Tenant / Property Litigation
- Proven experience handling a broad range of contentious landlord & tenant matters
- Strong knowledge of current housing legislation and regulatory developments
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Strong client care and communication skills
