Salary: £40,000–£55,000 DOE

Our client is continuing its impressive growth journey and is now looking to appoint an experienced Audit Senior / Assistant Manager within their Blackburn office.

The Role: Audit Senior / Assistant Manager
Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking audit team, you will take ownership of audit assignments while supporting the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Completing complex audit testing and sections across a range of industries
- Preparing audit documentation, reports, and analytical reviews
- Acting as a key client contact, building long-term relationships
- Reviewing and guiding the work of junior team members
- Supporting senior staff in achieving operational and financial targets
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and added client value
- Supporting business development initiatives and networking
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- 3–6+ years’ UK audit experience within practice
- ACA / ACCA qualified or finalist
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards (ISA)
- Experience managing audits and reviewing junior staff work
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and workload effectively
Desirable
- Experience working with SME and owner-managed businesses
- Exposure to complex audit assignments or group structures
- Interest in progressing into management and leadership roles
