Tax Accountant (Semi-Senior / Senior)
Location: North Yorkshire
Salary: £32,000 – £42,000+ DOE & Benefits

The Opportunity
In this position, you will play a central role in delivering personal and corporate tax services to a varied and engaging client portfolio. You will handle compliance, director tax planning, and advisory queries while acting as a trusted main point of contact for business owners and individuals. With responsibilities tailored to your level of experience, this opportunity provides full support for professional study (ATT/CTA) alongside structured mentorship for those stepping into review and supervisory duties.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 2–3+ years of UK practice experience in tax compliance. ATT qualified, part-qualified, CTA student, or qualified by experience.

Technical Capabilities: Proven experience preparing personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns, income & expenditure accounts, and dividend planning for company directors.

Senior Duties (where applicable): Reviewing junior work, supervising trainees, managing workflow deadlines, and driving process efficiency within the team.

Communication & Portfolio Management: Confident client communicator capable of dealing with HMRC correspondence, PAYE codes, and everyday tax advisory enquiries.

Base Salary: £32,000 – £42,000 dependent on experience level and qualification status (Semi-Senior vs. Senior banding).
