Job Title: Senior Associate Solicitor – Family Law (5-10 years PQE)
Location: Preston, North West England
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client, a highly regarded law firm with offices across the North West, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Associate Solicitor specialising in Family Law to join their growing team in Preston. If you are a motivated professional with 5-10 years PQE and a strong track record in handling complex family law matters, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes.
• Manage a substantial caseload, providing expert advice and representation to high-net-worth individuals and complex family law cases.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior solicitors, trainees, and support staff within the team.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering exceptional client care throughout the legal process.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings as required.
• Contribute to business development and marketing activities to promote the firm’s family law services.

Essential Requirements:

• 5-10 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE) with a strong focus on family law.
• Proven experience handling a diverse range of family law cases, including high-net-worth and complex matters.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with experience in mediation and litigation.
• Ability to manage a team, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the department's growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with empathy.
• A proactive and client-focused approach with a keen eye for detail.
