Post Completions Clerk / Admin Assistant
Location: East London
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (DOE)
Type: Full-time, permanent
I’m working with a well-established East London law firm with a strong presence in conveyancing, litigation, family, and private client work.
They’re now looking to bring on a Post Completions Clerk to support their busy conveyancing team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a good level of responsibility and client contact.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit SDLT, AP1, and FR1 applications via the Land Registry portal

Collate supporting documents for registration

Ensure applications are submitted within OS1 priority deadlines and manage requisitions before expiry

Maintain accurate records on both case management systems and paper files

Liaise with colleagues to resolve any requisitions and registration queries

Update lender clients through portals, email, fax, or letter

Upload post-completion documents to LMS and Lender Exchange portals

Ensure clients receive final confirmation and documents once registration is complete

Provide occasional cover for reception as needed
What You’ll Need:

Solid understanding of the conveyancing process and Land Registry procedures

Experience using lender portals (LMS, Lender Exchange, etc.)

Ability to audio type confidently and accurately

Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically

Clear and professional communication skills
-
A proactive, can-do approach and able to work independently
